IMPORTANT NOTE:  Many of the more sophisticated tools will only run on Excel 2007 or later.  They cannot be converted to a prior version.  Follow the supplied link for a free trial of Microsoft Excel 2010.

Nitrogen Uptake for Winter Cereal Forage, Silage Corn, and Triplecrop Sudangrass and Organic Nitrogen Release Calculator

Calculates the amount of nitrogen needed by the crop for each irrigation interval, using default or your own weather data.  Also calculates corn Growing Degree Units (GDUs) from planting to the present, and can be used to forecast when the crop will be ready.  Calculates cumulative and interval mineralization of applied organic form nitrogen in percent and pounds per acre.
